The obligations of the Syndic in Mauritius

The co-owners entrusts the day-to-day and financial management to a Mauritian co-ownership whom it appoints and mandates at the General Assembly.

The latter is the executive body in charge of the administration of the co-ownership. It executes the decisions taken at the General Meeting, has the work necessary for the maintenance and security of the building carried out, establishes the budget and organizes the General Meetings.

During the General Assembly, the co-owners elect their “union council”: a group of voluntary co-owners whose mission is to assist and control the syndic in its technical and financial management.
